Special Containment Procedures: Due to its properties, SCP-8824 requires little to no intervention from the Foundation beyond observation and the apprehension of civilians aware of the anomaly's existence. Liquid produced by SCP-8824 is assumed to evaporate without further issue.
Relocation of the individual known as PoI-8824 is pending, as of writing.
Description: SCP-8824 designates a structure visually representative of the Earth's moon, being constructed from similar materials and exhibiting a low gravitational pull when nearing its proximity. The object levitates a few meters above the ground, with attempts to relocate it yielding no success.

Throughout every night, SCP-8824 secretes water from its surface, an average of approximately five milliliters between each instance. It has been noted it can excrete up to one liters worth of the fluid, which is especially prominent when a full moon is present.
SCP-8824 hides behind an antimemetic cover that prevents individuals from perceiving it. Notably, when viewing the object through a filtered lens, staff have reported a gradual decrease in temperature while inside its immediate vicinity.
Initials are etched into the side of SCP-8824, having been crossed out beyond recognition prior to discovery. Following assessment (see Addendum), SCP-8824 is believed to be manmade.
