The Multiversal Compass is a fascinating instrument to explore.

The vast majority of universes have but the smallest, most minute differences from baseline reality. In those universes, the point in which it blossomed from its parent universe might've simply been you deciding that you didn't want coffee that morning.

The truly interesting part of the compass, however, is exploring universes completely different from our own, filled with things that would be considered completely unfeasible to people in our reality. Universes where the Foundation lifted the Veil they have draped across the masses, where walking, talking plants roam the continents as standard animal life never evolved, where civilization as we know it collapsed, paving the way for new cultures and empires to form and rise from the ashes of the old, where the landscape is filled to the brim with deadly ionizing radiation, yet life is thriving.

Of course, I'm sure you're already partly familiar with that last universe. Its name is on the cover of this book, after all.

What is this?

This is a series set in the Kong, Shing, Gong canon from the Chinese branch.

It's a set of semi-connected articles with the goal of fleshing out the Right Phase, a parallel universe connected to baseline reality that is filled with ionizing radiation.

CharactersBelow is a list of all the important characters in this series.

Character	Description
Mea Scarlet	A Containment Officer turned Esteemed Scholar of the Zhujihui. Is a member of the Zhujihui's Omega-16 task force. Is skilled with blood-related magic.
The Doctor of Death	SCP-049, who found and put on SCP-1033-RU shortly before the Twilight of the Gods. In the modern day, is the leader of the Domain of the Dead, a territory that controls much of European Russia in the Right Phase inhabited by more advanced SCP-049-2 instances. Occasionally declares wars on his neighbors to gain more territory.

Term	Definition
Divine Energy	Ionizing radiation. Organisms and society at large in the Right Phase depend on it to survive.
Era of the Gods	The time in the Right Phase prior to the Twilight of the Gods. Nearly identical to baseline reality.
God's Pus	An illness that is a mixture of the Washington Virion and God's Ichor. Mainly present in Hong Shing and the Right Phase, with very few cases in the Left Phase.
Hong Shing	A pocket dimension situated between the Left and Right Phases on the phase plane. Created by the Zhujihui to stop the two phases from colliding. Allows for movement between the two phases by moving through the city. Is one of the major hubs of paratechnology.
Language of the Gods	English
Left Phase	Baseline reality.
Phase	A universe that is intersecting with another, usually in the process of merging into one universe.
Prevention of Magic Act	A law in the United State of a Mary King that forbids use of magic.
Right Phase	A parallel universe filled with ionizing radiation/divine energy. Home of the Zhujihui.
The Standstill	A "lesser variant" of the Impasse present in the Right Phase due to its connection to the Left Phase through Hong Shing. However, it arguably was more destructive as it operated based off of the Foundation's Veil of Normalcy and considered everything in the Right Phase anomalous, destroying a large portion of objects and life within the universe.
Sky Wall	Hong Shing's spatial boundary. Must be kept intact or else Hong Shing will collapse and the phases will collide. Is relentlessly maintained by the Sky Wall Maintenance Committee, a committee of most groups of interest that are active in Hong Shing.
Solar furnace	A nuclear reactor in the Right Phase. Specialized to output as much ionizing radiation/divine energy into the atmosphere as possible.
Twilight of the Gods	A nuclear war caused by SCP-1178 that destroyed human civilization in the Right Phase. Allowed for the start of divine energy-based civilization.
